CashtoCode now on FansyMe: Buy credits easily with cash
More choice, more flexibility, and more privacy when paying: FansyMe is expanding its payment options to include CashtoCode. This means fans can now top up their FansyMe credits with cash, without a credit card.
The new payment method is initially available for customers from Germany, Austria, and Ireland and offers an interesting alternative especially for those who don’t have a credit card or prefer to use as little bank or card data as possible for online payments.
Buying FansyMe credits now works with cash too
Credit cards, digital payment methods, and the like have long been part of everyday life for many people. Still, not everyone wants to use their credit card details for online purchases. Others simply don’t have a credit card or prefer to pay their expenses in cash.
This is exactly where CashtoCode on FansyMe comes in.
Instead of processing the payment directly via a credit card, you can select the desired amount on FansyMe and then use CashtoCode as your payment method. The actual payment is then made at a participating point of sale near you.
The technical payment processing is handled by CashtoCode, a cash payment solution offered by Funanga. CashtoCode makes it possible to pay for online purchases in cash using an individually generated barcode at connected points of sale. No bank or credit card details are required for this form of payment.
How CashtoCode works on FansyMe
The entire process is intentionally kept simple:
1. Select FansyMe credits
Open the credits purchase section on FansyMe and select the desired credit amount.
Depending on the available selection, you can use one of the suggested amounts or enter a custom amount.
2. Select CashtoCode as payment method
Among the available payment methods, you’ll now find CashtoCode.
Before purchase, FansyMe transparently shows you the total amount to be paid, including the applicable sales tax.
3. Proceed to CashtoCode
After you’ve selected CashtoCode and started the process, you’ll be redirected to the CashtoCode page.
There, a personal barcode for your payment is generated.
The principle follows the official CashtoCode procedure: A barcode generated for each payment links the online transaction with the subsequent payment at a point of sale.
4. Find a point of sale near you
You don’t have to search for a suitable acceptance point yourself.
On the CashtoCode page, you’ll see points of sale near you where you can use your barcode.
Then you go to one of the available points of sale and present your barcode there.
5. Pay and receive FansyMe credits
The barcode is scanned at the point of sale and you pay the previously displayed amount.
No additional costs are added to the already displayed amount at the point of sale.
Once the payment has been successfully processed, the corresponding credits are automatically credited to your FansyMe account.
After that, you can use your credits on the platform according to the applicable FansyMe Terms.
No credit card? No problem.
One of the biggest advantages of CashtoCode is obvious:
You don’t need a credit card for this payment.
Bank or credit card details also don’t need to be provided for CashtoCode payment. CashtoCode itself explicitly describes its procedure as a way to complete online purchases with cash without having to use bank or credit card details.
